Egypt Cruise Trips is operated by Travel In Egypt, a tour operator registered in Egypt.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking a journey, tour, or any travel service through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Booking & Payment

Deposits:

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking
• Deposits are due within 7 days of booking confirmation
• Holiday season bookings (October-April) may require 35% deposit

Final Payment:

• Full payment is due 60 days before departure
• Bookings made within 60 days require full payment immediately

Cancellation & Refunds

• 90+ days before departure: Full refund minus deposit
• 60-89 days: 50% refund
• 30-59 days: 25% refund
• Less than 30 days: No refund

Travel Requirements

• Valid passport required (6+ months validity)
• Egypt visa required for most nationalities
• Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory

Our Responsibilities

We provide professionally planned itineraries, licensed Egyptologist guides, quality-checked hotels and Nile cruise accommodations, 24/7 on-ground support, and safe private transportation.

Dispute Resolution

Raise concerns immediately with your guide or our local team. Submit written complaints within 28 days of return.

Children Policy

• Age 0 to under 2 years: free of charge.
• Age 2 to under 6 years: 25% of the adult price.
• Age 6 to under 12 years: 50% of the adult price.
• Age 12 years and above: full adult price applies.

Children's rates apply only if sharing a room with parents (maximum one child per parent's room). Additional charges may apply for children's airfare if included in the tour package.

Booking & Payment

Reservations: we recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates. Reservations are confirmed once a deposit is received — typically 30% of the total price (50% during peak seasons such as Christmas and New Year, or packages including airfare). This deposit counts toward the final payment.

Payment: a minimum deposit of 20% is accepted, with the balance payable in installments or in full upon arrival.

Payment methods

• Bank wire transfer (bank details provided by email).
• Credit / debit cards (Visa, MasterCard) via our secure payment gateway.
• Western Union transfer.

Confirmation: upon receiving your deposit, we send a confirmation email with your booking details, contract terms, price and cancellation policy. Once finalised, you receive an electronic voucher with all contact details and instructions for your trip.

Cancellation Policy

We offer a flexible cancellation policy, especially if government or airline travel warnings are issued related to your trip. In such cases, cancellation fees are waived and a full refund is issued. If you cancel voluntarily, the following fees apply:

• More than 45 days before arrival: 20% cancellation fee.
• 44 to 35 days before arrival: 30% cancellation fee.
• 34 to 25 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
• 24 to 8 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee.
• 7 days or fewer before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation fee.

Prices

All prices are quoted per person in US dollars unless otherwise stated, and are based on the cruise category, season and length of stay. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and are not subject to change once your deposit is received.

Excursions

Guided excursions listed in each itinerary are accompanied by a licensed Egyptologist. Optional tours can be arranged on request and are charged separately. Excursion timings may be adjusted to avoid crowds or accommodate sailing schedules.

Cruise Accommodation

Cabins are allocated according to your chosen category. Twin or double cabins are standard; suites and Nile-view options are available on most ships. Single travellers may be subject to a single supplement.

Entrance Fees

Entrance fees to the sites included in your itinerary are covered unless stated otherwise. Optional sites, special exhibits and photography permits may carry additional charges payable locally.
